A Platform for Informed National Conversation
Established in August 2007, Hilal English is a monthly magazine that gives voice to the men and women of Pakistan, while advancing the national conversation on security and strategic affairs. Since its inception, the magazine has worked to build awareness of the vital role played by the Pakistan Armed Forces — past, present, and future.
The editorial team identifies critical issues and publishes timely, well-researched analysis on national and international affairs, the evolving security landscape — with particular attention to South Asia — regional strategic concerns, human security, and the economy. Through articles from subject-matter experts, Hilal English aims to inform, educate, and motivate its readers.
Beyond analysis, the magazine is a resource for lessons learned, best practices, progress-driven development across sectors, and showcases initiatives by the Pakistan Armed Forces that matter to the country's growth. Above all, Hilal English seeks to stimulate critical thinking among leaders, analysts, and decision-makers alike.
