In Alif Nagar Forest, the animals were very worried. The people of Hasilpur had started cutting down trees very quickly. Day by day, more trees disappeared, and the forest animals became frightened because their homes were in danger.
The sweet maker of Hasilpur was kind-hearted and loved the forest very much. He did not want the trees to disappear, so he decided to ask his animal friends for help. Everyone in the forest believed that the wisest animal was old Glasses Owl. They were sure he would find a solution.
One evening, the sweet maker first visited Zalmi Giraffe. Together, they went to Dodo Sheep’s house. Nearby, they found Chinese Sparrow, Tadda Tani, Teetar Bibi Duck, and Popo Panda waiting for them.
Chinese Sparrow looked nervous and said, “I cannot go with you to Glasses Owl’s house.”
“Why not?” Bibi Duck asked playfully. “Are you upset with Owl?”
Chinese Sparrow laughed softly. “No, not at all! Glasses Owl is very kind. But it is dark outside, and I cannot see properly at night.”
The sweet maker smiled and said, “Don’t worry! Jojo Firefly can help us with his bright light.”
“That’s a wonderful idea!” everyone said happily.
Dodo Sheep called out loudly, “Jojo Firefly! Where are you?”
At that moment, Jojo Firefly was flying above the stream. Hearing his friends call him, he quickly flew down to them.
Soon, Jojo’s glowing light guided all the friends safely through the dark forest until they reached Glasses Owl’s tree house.
Glasses Owl was sitting quietly and cleaning his glasses. When he saw everyone together so late at night, he looked surprised.
“Oh dear,” he said kindly, “why are you all here at this hour? Is something wrong?”
Chinese Sparrow sadly replied, “The people of Hasilpur are cutting down the trees of Alif Nagar Forest. Soon, many animals may lose their homes.”
The sweet maker added, “Please help us, wise Owl. The people are poor and cut trees to earn money. We want to save the forest, but we also want the people to live happily.”
Glasses Owl became thoughtful. He closed his eyes for a few moments and stayed silent. Then suddenly, he opened his eyes and smiled.
“I may know a way to help both the people and the forest,” he said mysteriously.
All the animals moved closer with excitement.
“There is a hidden treasure buried in this forest,” Glasses Owl whispered softly.
The sweet maker and the animals stared at him in surprise.
Then Owl quietly shared his secret plan with everyone. As soon as they heard it, all the friends jumped with happiness. The sweet maker even began dancing with joy.
Early the next morning, the people of Hasilpur gathered near a small hill in Alif Nagar Forest. They started digging carefully in the place Glasses Owl had told them about.
They dug for many hours. Suddenly, one man shouted, “Look! We found something huge!”
Slowly, a giant skeleton appeared from under the ground.
It was the skeleton of an ancient dinosaur!
Soon, experts and museum people arrived to see the discovery. They bought the dinosaur skeleton for a large amount of money.
The people of Hasilpur became very happy because every family received a good share of the money. Now they no longer needed to cut trees to survive.
Thanks to the sweet maker, Glasses Owl, and all the animal friends, Alif Nagar Forest was saved. The animals could live peacefully in their homes once again, and the people also learned an important lesson:
Protecting nature is always better than destroying it.
